Lately, it seems like my newsfeed is constantly flooded with reports on the fashion industry’s major move towards digital, often inferring that more traditional forms of marketing, usually used at larger fashion houses, are now finally picking up on it.
And guess what? It’s almost October, folks. Which means the holiday season is not as far away as it might seem. And what do the holidays mean? Shopping, commerce, and now more than ever, e-commerce. For example, in the most recent Q2, e-commerce sales were at $39,707,000,000, a 14% rise since the same quarter last year, according to Fortune 3, and it’s only going up from there.
So, how do fashion bloggers become part of the equation?
By pitching yourself!
How is a brand suppose to know you exist if you don’t tell them? They might not realize how a blogger, like yourself, can help them build an online presence, and eventually a broader ROI, if you don’t tell them — besides, the worst thing they could say is “no.”
